Mishna Shabbos: Hillel and Shammai on ways to light Neirot Chanukah
-Each student designs a poster including: # day of Chanukah with the appropriate # of candles, which Tanna says to do it that way, and the matching words of the Mishna
Formative Assessment:
Be able to articulate and understand Al HaNissim and BiYemei Matisyahu
-Practice reciting with partners
-Write the general idea of each paragraph, to focus our tefillot better
Summative Assessment:
Halachot of Neirot Chanukah and Minhagim of Chanukah
-Write “How-to…” guide for Chanukah, for take-home Chanukah Fun Book
