תשעא פסח
Dear Parents,
As you have been preparing for Pesach, our fifth graders have also been busy enjoying and working hard, learning about Pesach and preparing divrei Torah to share with you at the seder.
A centerpiece of the traditions of the seder is the active participation of the children. The הגדה speaks of The Four Sons, each of whom plays a unique role in the dialogue. As parents and educators, we strive to inspire each one in his own way.
When introducing The Wise Son, we read the פסוק,
“… מחר בנך ישאלך כי”, “When your son will ask…”. In this spirit, we have provided an outline of what we have learned, in Question-and-Answer format. We hope you will take this opportunity to teach and to learn together with your children.
We are proud of their hard work and hope you will be too. May we share נחת as we transmit the stories, traditions, and values of our glorious heritage from one generation to the next.
Best wishes for a ושמח כשר חג!
Sincerely,
The 5th Grade Teachers
